Community Growth Director/VP – Full-time (Remote)
 

EGN Singapore is looking for a Community Growth VP – is that you? 

The Community Growth Director/VP is a result-oriented, persistent, and experienced telesales professional who will be responsible for successfully selling our tailored peer group memberships to senior business leaders, primarily from large multinational companies based in Malaysia. You are comfortable engaging in a dialogue with Senior Top Leaders and enjoy working in a fast pace and growing environment. 

This role will require you to be working from home in your home country. 

Job Description: 

  • Perform active warm and cold calling and marketing with new and existing leads to build own pipeline for assigned products and target segment 
  • Open doors by selling Senior Business Leaders a tailored peer group membership. Your sales calls are 30-minute exploratory calls at the beginning of the process and a follow-up call booked for the following week. You will typically have 8-12 Zoom meetings per day. 
  • Be able to discuss and tailor your pitch to both senior level management 
  • To proactively call and follow-up with all leads thoroughly until deal is closed and build/maintain an effective follow-up strategy to ensure a steady pipeline 
  • Positively articulate EGN’s services, propositions, and marketing messages for existing and/or new developments 
  • Display an understanding of the challenges faced by our potential members at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within their industry 
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of internal/external customer needs in order to assist the Company in meeting its’ business objectives 
  • Build strong and productive working relationships with all Community Growth team and administrative colleagues across territories 
  • To update own lead interactions onto CRM immediately 

Note: EGN is a growing organization that has been in existence since 1992, but we are expanding into new markets, including Indonesia and Malaysia in 2022.

Requirements: 

  • 4 – 5 years’ experience in (tele)sales with senior executives (preferable for services or intangible products) 
  • Strong sales focus with a competitive drive to attain assigned targets succeed combined 
  • Excellent telephone skills 
  • Self-starter with high energy with the ability to work both individually and in a team environment to achieve an agreed business plan 
  • Be able to have an adaptive, flexible mindset to market and business changes and needs 
  • Demonstrate ability to build professional and influential customer relationships and a strong team player internally 
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage customer expectations and capitalise on sales opportunities 
  • Concern for excellence in customer service 
  • Must be able to work from home and conduct meetings virtually
