Mindfulness for Executives by Erin Lee and Anupam Yog

EGN Invites you to join EGN Cross-Functional Physical Event: Mindfulness for Executives by Erin Lee and Anupam Yog.

Date/Time: Thursday, June 22, 2021. 8am networking. 8.30am – 10.30am interactive workshop.

Mindfulness for Executives

As mindfulness is increasingly introduced into the corporate world, many busy working professionals find themselves struggling with the practice of it. Numerous research studies have proven the benefits of practicing mindfulness, and even though mindfulness is an innate human capacity, the state of being mindful is arguably counter-intuitive to the distracted and stressed-out executive. Given the volatile and complex environments they operate in, executives have learned to pay attention to everything and everyone else except themselves. This lack of conscious self-awareness can have adverse effects on our health and wellbeing, which consequently impacts our personal effectiveness.

What might change when we start to pay more attention to our internal landscape? This 2-hour session invites you to explore mindfulness beyond mere intellectual understanding. Through a curated experience of skills practice, reflections and discussions, our Mindfulness Coaches will guide you in directing your attention inward to observe the nature of your mind and body, and understand how the skills of attentional flexibility can transform our relationship with stress, help us build resilience in adversity, make wiser decisions for ourselves, and navigate life with greater calmness and ease.

What the audience will learn:

  • Understand the role of attention in their health and wellbeing
  • Gain clarity of their states of mind and body under stress
  • Learn to break out of autopilot habits and shift away from unhelpful behaviors
  • Cultivate the essential skills of mindful awareness
  • Learn to integrate moments of mindfulness in their day-to-day life
