This confidential group provides a supportive and educational forum for heads of sales & business development to share their experience, ask questions, and get advice to support their personal and professional development in this field.
Our members are from large or mid-sized Singapore-based companies with team and strategy level responsibilities in-country or across the region. They include VP Sales & Marketing at AirFi Singapore, Director of Business Development at Syneos Health and Head of APAC Regional Business Development at Lingaro Group among others. Skills & experience including selling; building a sales strategy; hiring, managing, training and developing a sales team; sales methodologies; and best practices and effective use of sales tools such as CRM.

The chair of the group is Andrew Shuttleworth. Andrew has been in sales related roles for nearly 20 years, including stints establishing and managing B2B sales teams at Apple Retail in Japan. He is currently APAC Head Of Business Development for Agorize, an open innovation challenge services and platform provider. He has been an active community builder all his life and an active EGN member since early 2020 and is looking forward to making this peer group both valuable and fun – ensuring the group has a tangible benefit on the personal and professional growth of all members.
Our networks operate within the following frameworks:
- Join a group of six (6) peer group meetings each year for a half-day at a central Singapore location (in-person and virtual options available) with dates set a year in advance.
- You get access to weekly Cross-Functional events (interactive knowledge sharing sessions that are held both physically and virtually) including focus groups on digital transformation, innovation, human capital, future of works, developing markets, personal development and networking evenings.
- EGN provides an experienced facilitator to run all aspects of the group and meetings.
- The group has its own website with contact data, calendar, documents, presentations and mail.

When we have received your application, you will be contacted by a Network Advisor for a more in-depth interview to find the right peer group for your managerial level and/or professional need.
All candidates must be approved by both the Chair and specific peer group members before joining a group. This is done both to match relevant peers and also to avoid private friends, customer relationships and competitors being placed together in the same network group and to help facilitate honest and fruitful discussions.
