Tele Business Development Manager

EGN Singapore is looking for a Tele Business Development Manager – is that you?

The Tele Business Development Manager (CGM) is responsible in maintaining and/or developing key existing and new member relationships, as part of a defined panel of industries, to achieve an agreed sales plan.

Principle Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Make proactive outgoing sales calls on a daily basis with target segment to secure discovery calls for Community Growth Directors.
  • Apply knowledge of EGN proposition using the telephone to build trusted relationship with potential members and deliver ongoing membership growth.
  • Ensure delivery of contact / relationship management strategy to maximise business results
  • Keep accurate up to date information on potential members including meetings secured, potential, contacts made etc
  • Be able to discuss and tailor your pitch to both senior level management
  • Build strong and productive working relationships with both Community Growth and administrative staff at all accounts as well as a strong personal network internally
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of internal & external customer needs in order to assist the Company in meeting its’ business objectives
  • Positively articulate EGN’s services, propositions, and marketing messages for existing and any new developments.
  • Show an understanding of the challenges faced by our potential members at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within their industry

Experience

Essential

  • Strong sales focus with a competitive drive to succeed combined with excellent telephone skills
  • Self-starter with high energy with the ability to work both individually and in a team environment to achieve an agreed business plan
  • Demonstrate ability to build professional and influential customer relationships and a strong team player internally
  • Excellent negotiation skills to manage customer expectations and capitalise on sales opportunities

The role will be offered as Home Working and may be subject to working from home on a permanent basis or on-site. Therefore, may not be suitable for those whose preference is office based only during this time.
